Grrr, got an email saying my interview will have to wait until next week. Thanks for the support everyone, I'll save it for a little later. I also got an email from Gameloft with an "assignment" to complete before they'll give me an interview. I have to write my own Java console version of Puyo Puyo, known to some as The Mean Bean Machine (which I dominated in the Barnard tower a little over a year ago while I was "living" there). Took a bit to brush up on my Java Swing, but things are going well with that now.
Physical therapy tomorrow, then guitar practice (with no end to the 7th chords) later in the evening. Busy, busy Bokononist I am.
On another note, I've been IMing for the past couple of weeks with a girl who works-at/goes-to teacher's college. I might go see her sometime Friday after I go justify my summer Dodge Gym membership.
Mean Beans, NetBeans(3.6), Cool Beans!

Be glad they didn't ask you to implement one of the other major puzzle games: PuyoPuyo and tetris I can think of how to do, Panel de Pon (Tetris Attack) or Bust a Move (Snood) strike me as a bit harder to do.

Spleen Beans?
Dump NetBeans, try Eclipse. OMG, I'm a convert. They convinced me to use it at work because of some CVS support or something and OMG, now I'm a spoiled IDE brat. It's fantastic. Orgasmic. And they have a C/C++ extension. Score.
